Long weekend in Cambridge

John and I spent three nights at a lovely B&B in Cambridge, right on the River Cam. This is the view from our bedroom window:

This unpopulated moment was the exception rather than the norm. Many, many people travel on the river, rowing various types of craft, travelling in narrow boats or the occasional motor boat. We joined them (although nowhere near the B&B) when we went punting:

Tomorrow we go to fetch the children who seem to have had a great time at camp. I'll see if I can get one or both of them to post about it.
